Is there a way to measure the rotation of a chip in relation to the core as opposed to in relation to the world? If so, what is it? I need to add some cyclic pitch control to this thing and I have no idea as to how I would do it.

Just measure the rotation of the chip and the core in relation to the world and take the difference.

you can also use the _R(chip1, chip2) functions(_RX, _RY and _RZ).

you can also eliminate the need of a core by measuring the rotation between the wheel and its hub(wheelchip-1).

for wheel/RLW rotation you're looking into _RY.
