Could This Be The End?

I have noticed that now, these forums are very....dead. I've been coming here as a guest every so often, and each time I come here, nothing new has come up. Please, if anyone is still here, please...just respond to this post. I love this community so much, and I'd hate to see it go.

I don't know about others, but I'm just taking a break. Plus, I'm in a different time zone right now, so it's hard to meet you on IRC.

Oh and this: Minecraft!

on the other hand, the RC community is still active, but lacking the initiative right now. noone's replying because they're waiting for a new post, which simply doesn't happen

Heck, I always thought that it was just dead, since nothing was being replied on since I believe the 24th of June. But seeing as that people are waiting for new posts, I could post some of my models. I'm still planning on posting my R92CP model that I made.

I have been busy moving and going on holiday so no RC for me later, and as bwansy said...MineCraft!!!

Well, seeing myself having second place in post count, I've kinda cut down on the replies... other than that, I'm moving as well so no internet for me unless there's a free wifi around. Life I guess. xD

What I could do is advertise this site on the "other games" forums of a few forums I go to. I'll have to check the rules and see if it's okay first.

Same here. A lot of minecraft and until i will figure Laputan Blueprints out and make something to post there wont be much coming from me because i usually only come online when i made something that deserves being shared

So, almost all of us have succumbed to the power of Minecraft. So, what you guys want to talk about...
Maybe we have a small sub-forum where we can talk about Minecraft or other games?

-nudge, nudge- Huh? Oh, well I tried it out and so far I'm calling minecraft one of those one meter builders...

Also, after a good number of tries, I'll say that I miss the 3D way we could build in RC. I find the one dimension blueprint very difficult to build in X, Y, and Z. So I'm going to delete any of my LB post. I'll stick to RC for now.

LB isn't very hard to model with in my opinion.

i'm not being able to model much on it because i'll travel a couple of thousand km in order to participate on a brazilian robotics tournament, which is taking up pretty much all of my free time. that, and i won't have that much of internet access for the next week because of it.

BTW, i got live interviewed about 30 minutes ago on TV Cidade Verde(a TV broadcasting company from piauí, a brazilian state).

It's not too different and not that difficult, but build anything on the Z axes it unimaginably tantalizing! The steam train I was building is kinda why I'm giving up for now, if anyone wants I'll post the jet plane I constructed, though I don't know how to Lua code jets. So other than the fact it have no propulsion, it's fully functional!

results:12nd out of 17. our team simply faced a sensor failure which rendered it nearly useless. i got mildly impressed when wheel balancing problems made it to overcome an obstacle while completely blind, and yielding that way the points needed to stay out of the last place.

ill fly back tomorrow, with a return estimation of about 4AM GMT this friday.
