If * Ruled the world

Ok, I can't remember if there were any rules to this, do's and do not's.
How it goes is you need a key item, feature, sport, anything really, and explain how it would rule the world.

I'll go first;

If blue smarties ruled the world, everyone would be a Mac owner.

Issue!

The way it goes is you say an object, e.g. "if <object/person/thing> ruled the world...", then the next person says "... then <something>." and says the next objects.
So:

If wristwatches ruled the world...
