Good news everybody!

I've been working hard on getting RigidChips a nice new home.
Whilst these forums have served us well for the past two years, since IPBFree disappeared, I think it'd be better if the community had a place to call home that wasn't hosted on someone else's server, because as some of the older members will know, forums hosting sites can and do vanish overnight.

So I've set up a new forum, hosted on my own server, it has more than enough resources to handle the community, has all the great features of this forum, thanks to the software, phpBB3. What's more, it also has a downloads section built right into the site. That means no more [code] boxes, no more pastebin, and you can upload just about any file, of any size, without problems. Some of our members who use the IRC channel have already signed up, now it's time to make the public announcement.

I've been to the new forums and I can't fgure out how to upload anything.

They're pretty much a spambot fest right now.

i've tried to contact Thorero through this forums' e-mail contact, but i haven't received a reply so far.

EDIT: the spambot wave is gone. at least for now.

I couldn't get its upload system to work.

anyway - i'm going to post models on both forums - if i ever get around to actually publish them.

think of it as a RAID 1 drive system. redundancy would mean we'd still have one of the databases if the other one failed.

Was there a larger movement in activity on rigidchips.tk than there is here? It seems this simulator will die (officially) off soon besides private players/servers
